The Annual Parochial Church Meeting is an opportunity for those in the parish to have their say in how their Church is run. It includes a summary of the year and reports from key people, as well as the election of roles such as churchwardens and members of the PCC.
Anyone who is resident in the parish is welcome to attend, but voting is restricted:
- To vote for churchwardens, your name must be included on the register of local government electors (i.e. you must be registered to vote in this area), or you must be on our church Electoral Roll.
- To vote for anything else at the meeting, your name must be on our church Electoral Roll.
This year’s APCM has been delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but will be held online on:
Tuesday 17 November 2020 at 6.00 pm
Details for joining this meeting will be made available on this webpage shortly before the beginning of the meeting.
Election of representatives
A number of people help to run the Church, and many of these people are elected to serve by members of the parish at APCM meetings. This year we need to elect people to the following roles:
Deanery Synod representatives
If you would like to stand for any of these roles or you would like more information, please get in touch.
To make amendments to the parish electoral roll, please contact us before Monday 2 November 2020.
If you are not yet on the parish electoral roll and wish to be, you must apply no later than Monday 2 November 2020. You can find the application form and more details on our electoral roll page.
