Everyone is welcome to attend services here at St Mary’s. Whilst you are in our church building we ask that you follow these guidelines. They are here to help keep everybody safe.

If you have any questions you can always ask any of our stewards for help.

Stay home if you feel unwell

If you have any symptoms of COVID, do not attend a service with us. Instead, self-isolate and get a PCR test.

We recommend wearing a face covering

We encourage you to cover your mouth and nose if you are able, except when receiving communion. This includes whilst singing.

 Please sanitise your hands

Please clean your hands using the provided hand sanitiser when entering and leaving the building.

 Communion is your choice

Communion is available as both bread and wine, however if you wish to only receive the bread please do so and then return to your place. Receiving only the bread is still considered to be full communion by the Church of England.

 Keeping your distance

If you want to keep some extra space between yourself and others, we recommend sitting at the north side of the building where our seating remains physically distanced.

Follow the instructions of our stewards

Please follow all instructions from our stewards, especially during communion.
