Church is more than turning up on a Sunday morning and singing hymns – there’s a whole range of regular get-togethers ranging from the ancient service of Compline to the entirely relaxed Thank God It’s Friday.
We also offer a range of ways to deepen your faith and understanding of Scripture – visit our Nurturing Your Faith page for more information.

Thank God It’s Friday
A chance to unwind with a drink. Thank God It’s Friday has no planned worship – instead it’s just a space for people to relax at the end of the working week, either in our Community Centre or in the local pub.
Pints of View
A small group meets on Thursdays in the Brown Cow pub (opposite church) to discuss matters of faith over a pint*. Topics range from what’s going on in the news to deepening our understanding of the Eucharist.
Pints of View is having a short break for the summer holidays – watch this space for details of when it will return.
*Despite the name, there is no requirement for you to drink beer or anything else alcoholic. What matters is the conversation, not the accompanying refreshment.

Compline by Candlelight
Quiet contemplation in the middle of a busy week – a traditional sung service of worship by our choir, lit by candlelight in our centuries-old church.
Other Events
We have plenty of other events throughout the year – see our What’s On page for upcoming services, fairs, activity days, barbecues, concerts and more.
