St Stephen’s Day, 26 December

There will be a Said Eucharist at 10.30 am when David Grice will be the celebrant – to honour his old theological college, St Stephen’s Oxford. All are welcome to join him.

Please note

There will be no 9.30 am Said Eucharist on Friday 27 December, and no Daily Offices (Morning and Evening Prayer) from 23 December until 7 January.

East Leeds Food Bank

East Leeds Food Bank is currently short of tinned vegetables such as peas, carrots and potatoes, and packet mixes such as instant mash or pasta sauce alongside your usual donations. Please be generous at this time of year, as demand increases during the school holidays.

The Food Bank is also happy to accept donations of clean carrier bags. Thank you.

Christmas flowers

Donations towards the cost of flowers for the church would be appreciated and may be given to June Reed or Shelagh Freer.

St Stephen’s Day, 26 December

A big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to ensure the Christmas Fair was a success, and also to the people who supported us on the day. We couldn’t do it without you. We raised £2,700.

In the church from 7.30 pm until 9.00 pm on Wednesday. An opportunity to take some time out from the busyness of Christmas and spend time contemplating what we are preparing for. All Welcome.

Compline by Candlelight

Sung compline this Tuesday at 8.30 pm in the church, and the first Tuesday of every month.

All are welcome to this service of calm and contemplation.

Mothers’ Union

The Mothers’ Union advent service will be on Wednesday at 2.00 pm, followed by a cuppa and a mince pie.

Christmas Fair

This Saturday from 10.30 am until 3.30 pm.

Donations of cakes, tray bakes etc for the café would be welcome on the day – and of course, we’d love to see you there as well!
