This Friday from 7.00 pm in the Brown Cow. Why not come along and unwind at the end of the working week?

Singing workshop

John Bell from the Iona Community will lead a Workshop on Saturday 6 June from 2.00 pm until 4.30 pm at Christ Church Halton. If you sing and are interested please see Lynne or Matthew to reserve a ticket, which cost £5.00, and bring a tin of food on the day for the local foodbank. Places limited.

East Leeds Food Bank welcome donations of basic toiletries and baby wipes alongside the usual foodstuffs, as well as donations of clean carrier bags.

Donations towards the new defibrillator

Donations towards the cost and maintenance of the newly fitted automated external defibrillator on the outside of the Community Centre (which cost £1,500) would be greatly appreciated. Please pass anything you’d like to contribute onto the Churchwardens, or see whitkirkchurch.org.uk/donate.

East Leeds Food Bank welcome donations of basic toiletries and baby wipes alongside the usual foodstuffs, as well as donations of clean carrier bags.

A new six-week session looking at The Lord’s Prayer began last Wednesday at 10.30 am in the Smeaton Room in the Community Centre. If you are interested just turn up or either email or speak to Matthew.

Prayer time in the church at 10.10 am on Wednesday.

Candlemas at Ripon Cathedral

If you have booked a seat on the coach to go to this service which costs £8.50, Joan and Giles will be in the Community Centre at coffee time today to take your payment and answer any queries you may have.

A big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to ensure the Christmas Fair was a success, and also to the people who supported us on the day. We couldn’t do it without you. We raised £2,700.
