The basic fee for marriage in the church This includes all statutory fees, reading of banns at St Mary’s, building costs, a verger, and an organist. If Whitkirk is not your home parish, you will also need to have banns read there. | £747 |

Recording a wedding
Permission to film the service (whether professional or amateur), or if your service is being streamed, will need an additional agreement and will incur the following additional costs.

Deposits, payment and terms
A deposit of £50.00 is required to be paid before we can confirm that the church has been reserved for the time agreed. This will not normally be refunded in the event of a cancellation, as it covers administration costs.
Cheques should be made payable to “St Mary’s Church, Whitkirk”.
The full balance must be paid not later than four weeks before the wedding.
These fees are revised annually and the rates in force at the time of the wedding will be the ones charged.
