These fees include those set nationally by the Church of England and Parliament.

The basic fee for a wedding
(This includes the fees for the Church and the organist)

The following extras are available, but are optional

Bells (electronic) £50

Additional copies of the Marriage certificate
(issued at the time of the wedding)
£4 per copy
Permission to film the service
(Whether professional or ameteur)
An additional agreement is necessary and will incur the following additional costs.

Whilst the church is not capable of ringing its bells, we may be able to provide an electronic alternative at a cost of £50. If you’d be interested in this, please mention it whilst planning your wedding.

These fees are revised annually and the rates in force at the time of the wedding will be the ones charged.

A deposit of £50.00 is required to be paid before we can confirm that the church has been reserved for the time agreed. This will not normally be refunded in the event of a cancellation, as it covers administration costs.

Cheques should be made payable to “St Mary’s Church, Whitkirk”.

The full balance must be paid not later than four weeks before the wedding.
